Our Wonderful Vets
We have to do another shout out to our amazing veterinarians, Dr's Ginny Johnson and Joyce Murphy! Both help us here at the Center to care for birds and bird eyes all of the time; for which, we are eternally grateful! The reason for this post is to acknowledge Dr. Johnson who helps the entire animal community daily and who, this weekend, reminded me of her tireless attempts to help us with our pets. I watched her try to save a six month old kitten on Saturday... because the owners had no car she went and picked the kitten up and drove her to our Center for an X-ray, then do surgery to try to save her. This is not an isolated incidence, she helps Pet Helpers, and all the other animal non-profits on the peninsula with low-cost spay and neuter clinics and all types of emergencies any time and most days!
